More fatalities in traffic

Statesman says we had 23 traffic fatalities in 4 months. And not counting an intoxicated 22 year-old who was killed when descending a capmetro bus.
That is more than five deaths due to lethal vehicles per month in Austin alone.

Yeah, ain't that the truth. Think cycling is dangerous? Try walking around as a pedestrian. Here's number 23:

"The Jeep came to a stop at the intersection and then proceeded to turn northbound onto West Gate Blvd. and struck the pedestrian."
