Cyclist Ponthier killed by hit & run in S Austin (Bluff Sps), 7/10/16

Elijah Ponthier, who would have turned 27 on Aug. 9, died Tuesday while being treated for his injuries at St. David's South Austin Hospital. Police now seek the public's help in finding the driver of the car -- described as a dark-colored vehicle (no other details are known) -- that hit Ponthier.

The bicyclist was hit while bicycling south on Bluff Springs Road at Chateau Village Way, police said. The incident occurred July 10 at 11:40 p.m.

Note that he died almost a month to the day after the collision.
