FrankenBike was started in June 2005 in Austin, Texas by Chris Gross and is currently run by Chris and his partner, Michelle Moore. Currently, we are striving to add new cities every month. FrankenBike works in conjunction with area organizations including Bike Texas, The Yellow Bike Project, NikiCoverstheCold.com, The Capital Area Blood and Tissue Center and Social Cycling Austin.
