New Stop sign at 13th and Nueces

I guess ACC traffic was a cause, but it is weird to have Stop sign on 13th, when there are no more before 15th st, Anyone have any info? I rode right thru it today. I saw them putting it up something yesterday, but did not realize it was a Stop sign. It just makes that commute broken up more.
