BIKE: SoCo Concerns Addressed

I have forwarded Jeff Thorne's excellent questions on to Colly (Stephen) 
Kreidler who is the new COA Bicycle Program Coordinator. If he does not 
respond to the Bike Forum directly, I will forward his responses to it. I 
also asked Colly to provide an update on the status of the effort.

As Bike Program Coordinator, Colly is our contact in the city's efforts to 
implement the new SoCo Bikelane between Riverside and Nellie.

Everyone needs to be aware that I have not had much to report for several 
months now with good reason. The SoCo CAG has not met since October. I 
believe Pollyanne Melton, the city staff coordinator for the SoCo Project 
has indicated that we will meet again in February.

Pollyanne is a terrific person to work with, and is very prompt and anxious 
to answer people's questions. So, if you have a question/comment on the SoCo 
Project, and you want a fast response, you can always contact her directly 
-- call 974-2000 and ask for her...(I don't feel comfortable giving her 
direct number here, but you can get it by calling 974-2000 -- the main city 
number).
