Ouch!

Well, I for one am saddened to hear this. I may have disagreed with your 
stand on some issues, but at least there was never any doubt about where 
you stood. And you always seemed to be standing for bicycle issues in a 
most assured manner. Not a bad thing.

Maybe you'll be proven correct about the folly that is commuter rail and 
how that sad precident will sink any chance for a truly great rail 
solution further down the road. Here's hoping you are wrong about that, 
at least. It's a little scary because you're usually NOT wrong.
