BIKE: Austin's Crude Awakening

Hey fellow cyclist,
I know this is short notice but an important topic non-the-less.  I am part
of a group here in Austin, "Austin's Crude Awakening" and we are having an
Oil Awareness presentation
By: Cal Perrine tonight at 6:00 pm and it only lasts about 45 minutes.

Roger Baker has addressed this issue several times and we may offer a new
twist on his thoughts.
We hope that you all will join us tonight and help us educate you so we all
can educate others to insure that no person is blind sided by the depletion
of cheap oil.
Cheap Oil supports our very way of life as we know it.  It is crucial for
our transportation, food production, economy and basically everything that
we use on a daily basis. 
You owe it to yourself and future generations to learn more.

This presentation will address:
1) The arguments for and against an imminent peak in worldwide oil
production
2) The potential consequences of an oil production peak
3) The suitability and availability of alternatives to oil
4) What you should or could do now that you know about the oil peak
