What: Public meeting to discuss pedestrian, bicycle and transit issues for
the Triangle Transportation Study
Date & Time: May 10 - 7pm
Where: Department of State Health Services Winters Building Auditorium (701
West 51st. Street, Rm. 125)
Please join the University of Texas Center for Transportation Research and
the City of Austin Public Works department at the Department of State Health
Services Winters Building Auditorium (701 West 51st. Street, Rm. 125) on
Tuesday, May 10, at 7:00 p.m. to discuss pedestrian, bicycle and transit
issues in the area surrounding the Triangle Development. The Triangle
Development is a mixed-use project that is currently under construction and
is bound by North Lamar Boulevard, Guadalupe Street and 45th Street.
Scope of Work The University of Texas Center for Transportation Research is
preparing a plan for recommended improvements to the Triangle Development
and surrounding areas to encourage and enhance non-automobile travel. This
meeting will be held to gather public input on pedestrian, bicycle and
transit needs in the area.
