BIKE: ACL Fest

I have attended the ACL Fest each of the past two years and will do so 
again this month.  In 2002 and 2003, motorists parked on and/or drove on 
the concrete portion of the Johnson Creek Trail across from the MoPac foot 
bridge.  I complained after 2002, and in 2003 the Police ticketed some 
folks who parked illegally, but that was not the solution I was looking 
for.  One, I hate to see someone leave a joyous event like the ACL Fest and 
then face disappointment and anger after finding a ticket on his or her car 
-- we don't need negative vibes on the road at 2 AM.  And two, obviously 
bike riders still have to avoid the many illegally parked vehicles.

The solution is to put up a temporary fence to isolate the trail from the 
parking area, even if the fence is a flimsy plastic barrier.  I wonder if 
you could look into this.  Thanks.
