I'm going to use my second post today to alert list readers to a book 
called "The Oil Age is Over: What to Expect as the World Runs Out of 
Cheap Oil" which can be downloaded for free as a pdf between now and 
November 2 from this web site:

I went ahead and paid the guy for a pre-publication copy of the second 
edition because I believe in paying people for their efforts, but 
certainly there was no obligation -- you don't have to register or 
anything to get the pdf files.  I started reading it this morning, and 
it appears to be quite good and well written.
