BIKE: Soup anyone?

Ok, so maybe I'm the last person on this list to find out about this,
but if you are in central Austin and have a hankerin' for some bad-ass
soup, please check out the Soup Peddler...

    www.souppeddler.com

I've had some of these soups, and they are quite good. They are
delivered via bike. And, the web site is pretty entertaining as
well.

In an attempt to avoid chastisement for using the list to endorse a
commercial venture (in which I have no stake, by the way ;-) I'll ask
the following question. Because I live and work outside the delivery
area, but because I bike RIGHT by the Soup Peddler every day, I was
entertaining the idea of picking up the soup myself. But, I don't
have any convenient way currently to carry the soup, as my panier is
kinda full and not particularly well suited for carrying a small
bucket of liquid.

But, if I had a small, stretchy net that I could wrap over the top of
the bucket and tie down to my rack, I think that might hold the bucket
fast. Does anyone have any suggestions for such a thing that I could
either make or buy? Not sure what the best method of easily tying it
to the rails on my rack would be -- preferably something that could
clip for easy hooking and unhooking, but that would hold and not come
undone. (BTW, the plastic buckets are fairly small -- 2 quarts, I
think. The tops don't seal particularly well, and I suspect there'd
be some spillage as stuff sloshed around, but I figure if I wrapped
the bucket in a small plastic grocery bag, I could probably get by.)

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

-Lane
