Sorry, but I don't see the other side of the story in the letter.  About the
pedestrians on hike and bike trails who don't keep right, who walk three
abreast or who drift left with their headphones on and  couldn't hear you if
you had a Union Pacific horn on your handlebars.

While this cyclist was clearly in the wrong in this instance, cyclists seem
to be carrying more than their fare share of the right-of-way burden on bike
paths.
