simple but effective way to leave a message, take your bike inside while
shopping. if they complain, state in a firm, easy to hear voice "well,
you've jut lost my business unless you provide bike parking. and I'm telling
all my friends as well."
would probably work with Feats of Clay and the other merchants as well
