NOTES FROM PREVIOUS EMAIL
----
We obviously can do whatever we want for the month,
but as many of you know,
tradition has been to emphasize Bike Week (third week
of May) and in
particular, Bike-to-Work Day on that Friday, May 21.
Bike-to-Work Day has
included free breakfast stations for bike commuters
around town, along with
awards, and a Political Pedal/Happy Hour that
afternoon.
Many of you out there probably have a vast amount of
experience with these
events (more than my three times participating and one
time
volunteering)...so please note that TTA's role
primarily is to offer the
manpower/commitment to keep things moving and
organized for a successful
month/week/day...and all help and input will be
appreciated.
Finally, I realize this is short notice, so if you
can't make it and want to
be an integral part, just let us know. We developed a
short form for you to
fill out and note your interests, and I encourage
everyone to do so. It's
at:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=8883365529
