Did I miss something?  I'm not exactly sure what a last piece of posting 
is, but you might make your point more effectively if you give some 
indication of what you're talking about.  Otherwise, you're just making 
noise about nothing.  In particular, I don't recall seeing anything I 
would call political spam on this list recently.

Also, since you seem to be new to the use of email, let me point out 
that most people will be considerably more annoyed by messages 
containing goofy html backgrounds and image content than they will be by 
text messages with a political content.
