Hmmm. Isn't Subaru the car company that Lance does ads for?
And, from Subaru's web site ("Commitment to the Outdoors")...
"... You could say that Subaru is the official vehicle of the outdoors."
"Make no mistake, this is no idle marketing hype. ... This approach
helps us learn more about our customers' interests, and enables us to
demonstrate how Subaru all-wheel drive can complement their active
lifestyles. Simply put, it's much more than hanging a banner on a
mountain or sponsoring a racing team -- it's the real deal. It's what
makes us unique."
Interesting that they make a very careful and subtle distinction
between enjoying (even exploiting) "the outdoors" and protecting it.
Quite disgusting, that.
