There is no time limit, and since the facts don't all appear to be
in, the only OBVIOUS and UNARGUABLE charge at this time (since she
admits to hitting the cyclist) is "failing to stop and render aid."

More charges could follow later.

We sometimes have to resist the temptation to over react just because
it was a cyclist who was killed. The carnage on our streets, roads
and highways should make us all indignant all the time. Not just when
a cyclist is involved.

In my opinion, the only time we should get riled over bicycle
specific tragedy (over pedestrian and motorist tragedy) is when we
are treated unfairly compared to motorists and pedestrians. If
bicyclists (dead or alive) receive less justice than pedestrians and
motorists, THAT'S WHEN WE SHOULD RALLY AND MARCH. Otherwise, we
should pull together and work toward better and safer conditions for
all road users.
