BIKE: Biking on UT campus

My understanding is cycling is prohibited on sidewalks, and in the 
"Speedway Dismount Zone" on the East Mall, but cycling is permitted on 
the roadways. A cop just whistled at me once when I was riding on a 
sidewalk near the stadium where there were no peds, but I imagine if 
you're trying to ride through a crowd of people, they might give you a 
ticket. Cops are occasionally stationed at the dismount zone to hand out 
tickets. In general, UT is the most bike-unfriendly campus I've spent 
much time on.
