It's so wonderful to see such innocence! Following is a quote and a link! (Hope this doesn't violate aney rules here).
"Some people have religious training that tells them masturbation is wrong. However, it does not cause physical or mental health problems. It does not cause hairy palms, blindness, or increased sexuality."

Subject: BIKE: traffic sginal flame wars: a good teaching moment
Fellow bikers,
I've been bike commuting for three years, and just got on this list a few weeks ago. Although I mostly just scanned the lengthy missives, the vigorous back-and-forth has done me good--the anecdotes on near misses was a timely reminder that I can NEVER become careless or overconfident about my own actions, nor about what vehicle drivers might do. I hereby pledge to slow down. (Yes, I stop at traffic lights when they are red; I needed the reminder to be careful not to sail through on green before checking. You'd think my near-death experience crossing Guadalupe at 29th on green a year ago should have made me eternally vigilant, nevertheless....).
But what are hairy palms? (Bob Farr's remark on what happened after an accident).
