BIKE: Convention Center Bike Racks

I just rode by the north side of the convention center and noticed about a dozen new bike racks (or at least they weren't there the last time I rode by possibly a few months ago).  I was very pleased to see them but question the type that were installed.  They remind me of the West Gate racks that are extremely difficult to lock up one's bike. 
 
Is anyone aware of the Convention bike racks and if they are easy to lock up a bike with a U lock.
