BIKE: Coincidence?

An opportunity to try out the new list address.  

I hope it's only coincidence, and nothing to do with shock jocks riling up drivers, but I got yelled at yesterday while riding home and that hadn't happened in what seemed like years.  Furthermore, when it happens, it's always totally uncalled for (conditions are great, hardly any traffic, I'm not doing anything illegal or stupid, etc.)

So, some idiot in a huge SUV had to wait for me and another cyclist ahead of me so he could get out of a parking lot and onto Jollyville.  He had a big longhorn sticker on the side of his gas guzzler.  I was nice and gave him the hook 'em sign.  His response was to stick his head out of the window and yell:  "GET OFF THE ROAD DURING RUSH HOUR!"  Suddenly, and misteriously, my two-fingered salute turned into a one-fingered one.  Funny how that happens.

Then when I got home I realized one of the rails on my beloved Brooks B-17 saddle had snapped, and some other idiot had knocked down my mail box.  Just one of those days.
