			<description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, and thanks for asking about this.&#160; First thing, check the <a href="https://www.austintexas.gov/page/austin-bicycle-plan" rel="ugc">Austin Bicycle Plan</a> (starting at p. 94) and see if a bike lane is already planned for that street.&#160; If it&#039;s not, try to contact the <a href="https://www.austintexas.gov/page/bicycle-program-0" rel="ugc">Austin Bicycle Program</a> to inquire about the process for getting a bike lane added.&#160; I say &quot;try to contact&quot; because, typical for the City, there is no contact information listed on that web page.</p><p>Please let us know how it turns out.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Some homeowners have asked how to get a bike lane on a street near our neighborhood.&#160; I am not a cyclist, so please be kind! I serve on our HOA board, so I&#039;ve been asked to look into this.&#160; To be clear, the street is not in our neighborhood (not governed by the HOA), but close to it.&#160; I need a cheat sheet/guide on how to tackle this.&#160; </p><p>Thank you for your help!</p>]]></description>
