I have a 2008 Trek Madone that I purchased new locally at Bicycle Sport Shop in Austin. Since I bought the bike I have upgraded just about everything but the frame. This is a fantastic, fast, light road bike that runs up the hills. You won’t see many bikes appointed like this one is come for sale.
I added a lot of pictures so you can have a good idea of what she looks like. Some have the handlebar without tape so you can see it is a 3T Ergonova. Currently has new white tape.
The bike is 8 years sold and show normal/light wear for a bike that age. Any wear is essentially only cosmetic. The bike functions PERFECTLY.
Model: Trek Madone 5.2
Frame: 54cm black OCLV all carbon frame made in the USA.
Complete Dura Ace Groupo: note this is an upgrade
• Dura Ace front/rear derailleur
• Dura Ace compact crank – 50x34
• Dura Ace rear gear cassette – 11x28
• Dura Ace chain.
• Dura Ace brake levers
• Dura Ace front/rear brakes
Wheels: Wilson carbon deep racing wheels – another upgrade. Very light durable carbon wheels.
Handle bar: 3T ErgoNova carbon handle bar – another upgrade all carbon handle bar takes out hand vibrations
Seat post: carbon
Tires: 700c Gaterskins (new)
The closest I can get for a Trek bike appointed like this one is a Madone 6.5 pro which would retail close to $6,000 and that is with stock wheels, stock handlebars, not the Williams carbon racing wheels I have. Do the research and you will see!
