The Feb. 10th summit was attended by over 70 bicycle advocates, neighborhood representatives, parks and trail supporters. The "Austin Bike Summit" headlined the 6:00 PM Saturday evening news on KVUE 24 and on KXAN 36. Gayle Cummins, TBC, was featured on 24; Robin Stallings, Friends of Crosstown Greenway, was featured on 36. KEYE 42 may have featured a piece, with Karen Krueger, but unconfirmed. (please let me know if you saw 42 piece) Time Warner News 8 featured an announcement of the event several times Saturday Morning. KVUE 24 also had Chad Goldreyer, Bike Action Austin, on "Daybreak Weekend", a Saturday morning newsmagazine. Nearly a clean sweep! Bang-up job Patricia McKenney!
